1. Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by Debargha Roy, an individual, trading as Tura. Tura is not yet an incorporated company. References to "Tura", "we", "us" and "our" mean Debargha Roy trading under that name.

2. What this website is

This is a pre-launch page. It describes a product that does not exist yet and invites you to register interest in it.

Nothing on this website is an offer to provide a service, and joining the waitlist does not create a contract between us. It does not entitle you to access, to a place, to a price, to a mentor, or to anything else. We are not obliged to launch Tura at all, and if we do launch it, it may differ from what is described here.

When Tura launches, separate terms will govern the platform itself. You will have to agree to those before using it.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to join the waitlist. By submitting the form you confirm that you are.

4. What Tura is not

These points matter more than the rest of this document. Please read them.

Tura is not an admissions service and does not influence admissions decisions. We do not have relationships with admissions offices. We cannot submit applications, expedite them, obtain scholarships, secure offers, or affect any outcome. Nothing we ever provide is a prediction or a guarantee of admission, funding, or a visa.

Tura is not affiliated with any university. Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, Yale, LSE and any other institution named on this website are named as a matter of fact, to describe where our mentors studied. None of them has endorsed, sponsored, reviewed or approved Tura, and none is connected with us in any way. All institution names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Tura does not provide professional advice. Nothing on this website or from Tura is legal advice, immigration advice, financial advice, or careers advice on which you should rely. Mentors share their personal experience. That is useful, and it is not a substitute for advice from the university itself.

Always check the university's own sources. Course details, entry requirements, fees and deadlines change without notice, and the definitive source is always the institution. Do not rely on Tura for a deadline.

5. Information on this website

We try to keep this website accurate, and we describe a product that is still being built. Figures given for the number of courses, mentors or institutions are current as at the date of publication and will change. Screenshots and product descriptions are indicative.

Some imagery on this website is illustrative rather than documentary.

We make no warranty that the information here is complete, accurate or current, and we may change any of it at any time without notice.

6. Acceptable use

You may use this website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• submit anybody's details but your own, or submit false details
• scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the website
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or any system behind it
• interfere with the website's operation, or use it to distribute malware
• copy, republish or exploit our content beyond what is permitted in section 7

We may refuse or remove any waitlist entry, at our discretion, without giving reasons.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, design, layout, graphics, code, and the Tura name and wordmark — is owned by us, and is protected by copyright and other rights.

You may view the website and print or download extracts for your own personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or use any part of it commercially without our written permission.

Third-party fonts used on this website are licensed from their respective owners. University names and marks belong to those institutions.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation or payment to you.

8. Third-party content

This website embeds a video hosted by YouTube and may link to other websites. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of YouTube is governed by Google's terms.

9. Privacy

How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

This website is provided "as is". We give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from error or interruption.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity, savings, data, or reputation, arising from your use of this website or your reliance on anything on it. This expressly includes any loss connected with an application you make, a deadline you miss, a course you do not get into, or a decision you take on the basis of information found here.

Our total liability to you in connection with this website is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us, if any.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you deal with us as a consumer, you keep all statutory rights that cannot be excluded, and these terms do not affect them.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this website.

12. If Tura becomes a company

We intend to incorporate a company to operate Tura. On incorporation, or on any sale or transfer of the business, our rights and obligations under these terms may be assigned or novated to that company or party without your further consent. Your rights will not be reduced by that transfer.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time by posting a revised version here. The version in force is the one published when you use the website. If a change materially affects people on the waitlist, we will email them.

14. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the laws of India and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK, the EEA or India, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your own country, or of the right to bring proceedings there where local law gives you that right.

15. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are between you and us; no one else can enforce them.
